I’ve been working on a bit to make a self hosting cloud server and with the help of cloudflare, it’s possible now since internet doesn’t allow static Ip’s and auto-block of ports, instead of waiting for google fiber, I have been working on a custom script / app that tunnels everything.
Means, I can host IRC again, like the old days, email I may still use proton mail to route as I am on some ancient email databroker that just wont go away. But all my web hosts are coming home finally after 20 years.
For stress testing I am currently testing and potentially releasing a community server.
In thought of this direction makes it easier to shift move and have downtime but still able to keep the tunnel alive no matter where I go from Vegas or back to Oregon.
Other news, I’ve been growing Vegas Hackware, I kinda put TougeSW on the back burner.
